Money20/20 Middle East Returns to Riyadh
Money20/20 Middle East is set to return to Riyadh from 14–16 September 2026, bringing regulators, financial institutions, fintech companies, investors and technology leaders together as Saudi Arabia continues to strengthen its position in the global financial services landscape.
The three-day event will take place at the Riyadh Exhibition & Convention Centre in Malham and is expected to attract more than 38,000 attendees, 350 exhibiting brands, more than 350 speakers, 600 investors and 150 startups.
The 2026 edition is hosted by the Financial Sector Development Program (FSDP), Saudi Central Bank (SAMA), Capital Market Authority (CMA) and Insurance Authority (IA), and co-organised by Tahaluf and Fintech Saudi.
The event comes as Saudi Arabia continues to develop its fintech ecosystem, supported by investment in digital infrastructure, financial technology and regulatory development. Against this backdrop, Money20/20 Middle East will provide a platform for discussions around the technologies, business models and partnerships expected to influence the next phase of financial services.
Global financial leaders set to attend
The initial speaker line-up includes senior executives from some of the world's largest financial institutions and technology companies.
Among those confirmed are Ryan Rugg, Global Head of Digital Assets TTS at Citi; Mostapha Tahiri, Chief Operating Officer at State Street; Tony Ashraf, Managing Director at BlackRock; Joy Adams, Chief Operating Officer, Digital Assets Transformation, Corporate Bank at Deutsche Bank; and Hosam Arab, Co-Founder and CEO of Tabby.
Additional speakers are expected to be announced ahead of the event.
The breadth of the speaker line-up reflects the increasingly interconnected nature of fintech, where developments in payments, digital assets, artificial intelligence, capital markets and financial infrastructure are converging.
Money20/20 Middle East will organise its 2026 programme around six content pillars: The Future Financial Architecture, Trust by Design, Autonomous Finance, Empowered Finance, The Next Era of Payments and The Future of Capital.
These themes will be explored through keynote discussions, executive forums and closed-door leadership sessions, alongside dedicated platforms including The Executive Summit, NextGen Money, The Bridge, The Capital Stage, The Boardroom, Off The Record and MoneyPot.
Financial ecosystem backs 2026 edition
The event has also secured support from a range of financial services and technology companies.
Visa and Tamara have been confirmed as Founding Partners, while BARQ, ELM, Tiqmo and Arab National Bank will participate as Strategic Sponsors.
Platinum Sponsors include Foodics, Hakbah, Gulf International Bank, Safqah Capital and Al Rajhi Takaful. Further partners and sponsors are expected to be announced before the event.
The participation of banks, payment companies, fintechs, investors and technology providers highlights the breadth of stakeholders involved in the development of Saudi Arabia's financial ecosystem.
For international participants, the event also offers an opportunity to engage with a market undergoing significant transformation and to explore potential partnerships across the wider Middle East.
Annabelle Mander, Executive Vice President at Tahaluf, said the event brings together regulators, financial institutions, investors and innovators to develop partnerships and discuss the future of financial services.
With Riyadh increasingly emerging as a meeting point for international fintech companies and investors, the 2026 edition of Money20/20 Middle East will place the Saudi capital at the centre of conversations around the next generation of financial infrastructure, payments, capital and digital finance.
