DXtrade launches white-label crypto interface for spot brokers
Devexperts, the Dublin-headquartered capital-markets software group with more than 800 engineers across nine countries, has launched a dedicated cryptocurrency spot-trading interface within its flagship DXtrade white-label platform. The move represents a deliberate push to capture the growing tier of retail and mid-market brokers that want to offer exchange-grade crypto UX without the cost of building proprietary infrastructure.
The new interface is purpose-built for spot crypto traders, presenting an order book that supports cumulative and step-volume displays alongside standard and ladder price layouts, a feature set that mirrors the look of centralised crypto exchanges such as Binance or Coinbase rather than the multi-asset dashboards that traditionally characterise brokerage platforms. Brokers receive a customisable frontend available across web and mobile, with open APIs designed for third-party integrations and optional add-on modules that include AI-driven client support and user profiling tools.
White-labelling as a capital-light route into crypto
The strategic logic is straightforward. Building a compliant, high-performance crypto trading stack from scratch is expensive: firms must hire specialist engineers, navigate a patchwork of licensing regimes, and integrate market-data and custody infrastructure. Devexperts is positioning DXtrade's new interface as a way for regulated brokers to compress that time-to-market and capital outlay, leveraging what the company describes as over two decades of trading-software development.
Jon Light, Senior Director of Product Management at Devexperts, puts it directly: "Brokers can expect a fast time to market, high customizability and flexibility, and ongoing support through launch and beyond, all signature hallmarks of our flagship DXtrade platform."
The white-label model itself is not new to capital markets: similar infrastructure plays underpin much of the retail FX and CFD broker ecosystem. What is shifting is the addressable market. Regulatory clarity for crypto spot products is gradually widening across the EU under MiCA, and in parts of the GCC, creating a fresh cohort of newly licensed brokers that need trading technology but lack the engineering headcount to build it. DXtrade is angling to be the pick-and-shovel supplier to that cohort.
Convergence read-across: fintech infrastructure meets crypto market structure
The broader significance of this product launch sits less in the feature list and more in what it signals about the maturation of crypto market structure. The retail crypto space is converging with conventional brokerage technology: order books, portfolio management, charting-integrated execution and mobile-first design are now table stakes across both. The boundary between a "crypto exchange" and a "crypto-enabled broker" is narrowing, and white-label platform vendors are the infrastructure layer enabling that convergence.
For investors tracking the fintech infrastructure space, this is consistent with a pattern visible across the sector: established trading-tech vendors (Devexperts, Broadridge, and others in the multi-asset platform space) are extending coverage into crypto to defend client relationships against specialist crypto-native vendors. The competitive pressure runs in both directions, crypto-native platforms are adding FX and equities, while legacy trading-tech firms are adding crypto. The white-label model accelerates both sides.
The capital-flow implication is modest but real. Brokers that previously sat on the sidelines of crypto because of infrastructure cost now have a lower-friction on-ramp. If MiCA-licensed broker numbers expand as expected through 2027, demand for compliant, configurable crypto trading infrastructure should grow in parallel, and platform vendors that are already embedded in a broker's FX or equities stack have a clear incumbency advantage when those brokers seek to add crypto products.
Devexperts has not disclosed pricing or early commercial takers for the new interface. Brokers interested in a demonstration can contact the company directly through the DXtrade website.
