Strategic collaboration combines capital, media reach and collaborative services to cut through market noise and enable faster, safer and more resilient innovation for those who need it most.

Taranis Capital, The Fintech Times and Co-Labs Global today announced a strategic collaboration that brings together the strengths of their respective ecosystems across the UK and globally, with a shared mission: to de-risk and accelerate growth across FinTech, AI, RegTech and BioTech investment and innovation.

This collaboration comes at a pivotal moment for the industry. Global capital pools are more challenging to access than ever, while investment and regulatory scrutiny continues to intensify. At the same time, both banks and fintechs face a growing challenge in sifting through the vendors, to understand who is doing what, who can be trusted to deliver, and who will continue to do so in years to come.

By combining their missions, connections, capital and collaborative services, the three organisations will work to accelerate the most impactful areas of innovation, placing it directly into the hands of those who need it most. Designed specifically to benefit established and newer financial institutions alike, this [partnership] will help to preserve healthy competition in the market, support emerging innovators seeking capital, access and highlight the right routes to market.

The three organisations will work together across the UK and internationally, with joint initiatives to be rolled out in the coming months. The first initiative is our Leadership Workshop Series, with dates in London, Manchester, Scotland, and online, covering three key topic areas: AI Practices, Economic Crime, Regulatory Reporting. This is a foundational service to pave the way for our strategic collaboration, and we invite you to sign-up, tell others and be part of this new connected community.

This strategic collaboration will draw on each organisation's distinct strengths:

Capital and strategic investment: Taranis Capital is a DFSA-regulated venture capital and strategic investment firm headquartered in Dubai International Financial Centre. Specialising in high-growth sectors, including biotechnology, datacentres, disruptive technology and property, Taranis Capital operates across the MENA region, Africa and beyond, combining deep sector expertise with ethical governance to create lasting value. Media reach and market intelligence: The Fintech Times, the London-based fintech publication, brings global editorial reach and deep sector insight, helping innovators tell their stories and helping decision-makers cut through the noise.

Collaborative ecosystems and services: Co-Labs Global brings its collaboration model, curating relationships across regulated firms, providers of technology, professional and legal services, plus Regulators, Policy makecrs, Trade bodies, Academia and Investors. This work results in creating shared solutions to the shared challenges of regulation, whilst fostering the standards, connectivity and co-created value that turn innovation into sustainable adoption.

Nicholas S. Bingham, Founder and CEO of Taranis Capital, said: “Capital alone doesn't create change — what is needed, is capital combined with knowledge, networks and the right partners. In today's environment of tighter funding and heightened scrutiny, innovators need more than a cheque; they need an ecosystem behind them. This collaboration gives founders and institutions exactly that.”

Mark Walker, CEO and Editorial Director of The Fintech Times, said: “Every week we see brilliant innovation struggling to reach the people who need it, and institutions struggling to identify the innovators worth backing. By joining forces with Taranis Capital and Co-Labs Global, we can connect the dots — between stories and capital, between solutions and the institutions searching for them.”

Sarah Sinclair, Founder & CEO of Co-Labs Global, said: “The challenges facing our industry — from regulatory complexity to fragmented markets — are too big for any one organisation to solve alone. Collaboration is not a nice-to- have; it is the mechanism by which innovation actually reaches the real economy. Together, this strategic partnership will enable us to create supercharged connective tissue across the various ecosystems to ensure that capital, case studies and collaboration flow faster and stronger.”

We are thrilled to join hands and launch this strategic partnership in person on Tuesday 25 th August in London, starting with the Co-Labs Global Youth Community ‘Skills Futures Forum’, hosted at FIS Global, addressing the gap between academia and industry. Innovation at scale needs skill-building, better access to networks, and proactive initiatives to ensure diverse and inclusive talent pipelines. This collaboration will be continued through our Leadership Workshop Series.

To celebrate this new partnership, we are offering a 20% discount to members of The FinTech Times, who register for the September - October Leadership Workshop Series. To join the waitlist and for your exclusive discount, contact sarah@co-labs.global.
