Entravel raises $7.5m to wire travel booking into fintech super-apps
Entravel Group, the white-label travel infrastructure company that already powers booking products for crypto exchanges Kraken, MetaMask and KuCoin, has raised $7.5 million to push its stack into traditional travel and mainstream fintech platforms. The round was co-led by Ethereal Ventures, chaired by Ethereum co-founder Joseph Lubin, and Finality Capital, with participation from GSR, Varrock, G1 Ventures, Seier Capital, Veris Ventures, Funfair Ventures and WTG Ventures.
The raise is a direct bet on a structural shift in how travel is distributed. Booking is no longer the exclusive territory of dedicated travel websites. As hotel inventory migrates into super-apps, employee-benefit portals and digital-wallet interfaces, non-travel companies are discovering that travel is a high-margin engagement tool. Entravel's proposition is straightforward: a company with an existing user base can bolt on a branded travel product without building the underlying plumbing itself, an approach the company positions as a "Stripe for travel."
From crypto rails to corporate benefits
Entravel's route to market cuts across several sectors in a way few travel-tech companies can claim. The group has built more than 40 white-label platforms for crypto-native clients, reaching a combined audience the company says numbers 300 million users worldwide. It has since applied the same model to Brands for Employees, described as Switzerland's largest employee-benefits platform, whose corporate partners include UBS, Swisscom, SBB and Julius Bär. That two-front track record, spanning the blockchain ecosystem and traditional corporate HR infrastructure, is what attracted a syndicate weighted heavily toward Web3-adjacent capital.
The company's three operating businesses illustrate how the stack works end-to-end. MocatravelX contracts directly with hotels to secure rooms and negotiated rates. Ratestellar aggregates that proprietary inventory with third-party supply, giving partners access to more than 2.2 million hotels, and uses AI-powered mapping to normalise content and match room types across suppliers. Entravel Group itself packages supply and technology into a deployable white-label product. A fourth, stealth payments division is building a stablecoin-enabled financial layer for settlement, treasury and working-capital finance, funded in part by this round.
"Across our live white-label platforms, users can save up to 60% on selected hotels, while average booking conversion rates are above 10%, compared with an industry benchmark of approximately 1–3%," said Mathias Lundoe Nielsen, Founder and CEO of Entravel Group.
The fintech-to-travel capital flow
The investor profile of this round is as revealing as the business itself. Ethereal Ventures and Finality Capital are both crypto-infrastructure-focused vehicles; their presence signals that blockchain-native capital is increasingly looking for adjacencies where tokenised settlement and stablecoin rails can be retrofitted onto large, fragmented legacy markets. Travel, with its notoriously complex supplier-settlement chains and working-capital requirements, is an obvious candidate.
For cross-sector investors, the more significant signal may be the direction of travel for distribution infrastructure broadly. The same logic that drove embedded finance, where non-banks started offering lending, payments and insurance through their own interfaces, is now applying to travel. Companies that already own the customer relationship, whether a crypto exchange, a payroll provider or a corporate benefits platform, are becoming de facto travel agencies. The total addressable market the company cites sits against a backdrop of global online travel bookings that, according to the release, are approaching $1.2 trillion in 2026.
Entravel is also positioning for the agentic layer. The group says it has built an AI-native Model Context Protocol interface designed to connect AI agents with live booking infrastructure, enabling a transition from AI-assisted trip planning to AI-executed transactions. That places it in a space several larger players, including Booking Holdings and Amadeus, are also contesting. Whether a $7.5 million raise is sufficient capitalisation to compete at that layer remains an open question, and the company will need to secure materially larger supplier credit facilities to process the booking volumes its expansion ambitions imply.
Mathias Lundoe Nielsen, who is described in the release as Denmark's youngest founder to take a company public through an IPO, founded Entravel Group in 2026. The company is incorporated in Delaware.
