Solutions+ and Inception42 partner to scale agentic AI in the UAE
Solutions+, a UAE-based shared-services and consulting group, and Inception42, a sovereign agentic AI company within the G42 group, have signed a memorandum of understanding to jointly deploy the Catalyst platform across enterprise clients in the Emirates. The agreement was formalised at the AI Everything Global Abu Dhabi 2026 conference, where Solutions+ served as global partner, and was signed by Nasser Al Nabhani, Managing Director and Group CEO of Solutions+, and Ashish Koshy, CEO of Inception42.
The deal is notable not merely as a distribution arrangement, but as a signal of how the Gulf's AI buildout is maturing. Rather than selling point solutions, both parties are positioning Catalyst as a unifying infrastructure layer that consolidates fragmented AI pilots into a governed, sovereign-compliant operating environment.
What Catalyst brings to the table
Catalyst is designed as an enterprise-grade, sovereign AI layer: a unified environment in which organisations can build, deploy, discover, govern and scale AI agents and intelligent workflows. The platform integrates with existing systems, identity management frameworks and data environments. It combines an Agent Builder tool, an Agent Universe marketplace for agents and workflows, and a central command hub for coordination, monitoring, governance and optimisation.
That architecture addresses a structural problem that has stalled AI adoption across sectors globally: the proliferation of siloed proofs-of-concept that never graduate to production. Ashish Koshy framed it directly: "Making AI operational requires a platform that integrates with an organisation's existing systems and gives it control over how AI solutions are deployed and managed. Catalyst provides that sovereign foundation."
Under the MoU, the two companies will work to help organisations consolidate disparate AI projects under a single managed platform, accelerating deployment whilst strengthening security and governance oversight.
The broader UAE and GCC convergence angle
The timing and geography of this partnership carry macro weight. Inception42 is a subsidiary of G42, Abu Dhabi's flagship AI and cloud conglomerate, which has attracted significant sovereign and institutional capital and operates across healthcare, defence, financial services and infrastructure. Solutions+ serves clients across UAE's major sectors including digital services, finance, procurement and facilities management, giving Catalyst a ready channel into both public-sector and large-enterprise accounts.
This positions the partnership squarely within the UAE's national strategy to move beyond AI experimentation toward sovereign AI infrastructure that keeps data onshore and under domestic governance frameworks. For cross-sector investors watching the Gulf, this matters: the GCC is increasingly insisting that enterprise AI platforms offer data sovereignty as a prerequisite for adoption, a posture that diverges from the cloud-first, US-hyperscaler default and creates a distinct regional market for sovereign-stack vendors.
The agentic AI category itself is attracting intensifying capital globally. Competitors including ServiceNow, Salesforce Agentforce, and a cohort of venture-backed orchestration startups are racing to own the enterprise agent layer. In the Gulf context, G42's sovereign positioning and regional relationships give Inception42 structural advantages that pure-play Western platforms lack, though the MoU does not disclose commercial terms, pipeline targets, or revenue commitments.
For Disrupts readers allocating capital or strategy across the GCC, the deal is an early indicator that the region's AI infrastructure race is moving up the stack: from GPU clusters and data centres toward the governance and orchestration layers that determine which enterprises can actually operationalise AI at scale. The question for 2027 is whether sovereign agentic platforms become a regional standard or a fragmentation point as global vendors adapt their compliance postures to compete.
